Conceptualised at the turn of the decade in 2020, the Singapore Exchange lobby revamp is the physical embodiment of Singapore Land Group (formerly UIC) ’s longstanding commitment to excellence.
The wall is inspired by a bamboo forest, a symbol of speedy and endless growth, with larger “stems” at the base supporting finer “buds” above.
The skyward-curving ceilings symbolise Singapore Exchange’s ever upward ascent. Clad in a wood-look finish, they evoke the lightness of paper-thin veneer sheets, further accentuating the feeling of flight, while also imbuing the space with a lofty quality.
